So I got accepted onto the Production Arts course at Birmingham Metropolitan College! YAY me!!
The course doesn't start for another couple of months and I'm already doing homework... XD
Apparently to avoid getting bogged down in mountains of boring essays and course work, students maintain bloggs, regularly updating them with our new found knowledge, opinions and general day to day life.
It sounded like an odd approach at first but now I think about it, it seems quite an ingenious way to stay connected with tutors and fellow students.
So until I get going on with the course, I'll be posting about anything and everything, most likely it'll be extremly nerdy and geeky stuff. My hobby projects, reviews of books, TV, films etc etc. and just messing around in general with the set up.
As with most things these days the best way to learn how to use them is by tinkering.
It's my inner engineer, everytime I'm faced with something new and unknown I have to have a play with it: figure out how it works, how I can use it and how I can improve on it.
So expect some oddness while I get a handle on this...
